Photo Inspiration: Nuruosmaniye Mosque

One night in Istanbul, Matt and I visited the Çemberlitas Hamam. It was both a relaxing and off-putting experience, but the hot steam and warm tubs were a nice change from the brisk afternoon wind we’d felt along the Bosphorous. After being scrubbed silly in the hamam, I walked around outside in the cool night air while I waited for Matt. The shops were bright with lanterns, people were sitting on benches deep in conversation.

I found a seat on a step in a small courtyard along the main road to wait. This was my view. I could have sat here for hours.
