This has been a weird month of weather in New York.
First, the weather was warm and crisp and the trees were vibrantly colored.
Then Hurricane Sandy came and did some serious damage to New York and New Jersey. (Click to find a few ways to help)
Immediately after Sandy, when we needed inclement weather the LEAST we’ve ever needed it before, a Nor’easter blew through the area and dropped a couple inches of some seriously slushy snow. Though falling tree branches are still a bit of a worry in my area of Brooklyn, people were still in good enough spirits to enjoy the parks and play in the slush the morning after the storm.
