I’ve briefly mentioned before that I am more of a mountain person than a beach person. It’s not because I don’t love the beach. Most of the time, I think of beach destinations when planning a trip. But there’s something amazing about the clean air up high and the refreshing feeling I have when I’m surrounded by mountainous land. It could be the evening after a day of snowboarding, the morning before a hike, or just a day reading a book on the porch. Mountains are grounding for me, and for that reason, I want to take a minute to appreciate the mountains I’ve been lucky enough to see.
