One of the things I love most about living on the east coast is being surrounded in beautiful fiery-toned leaves come October. I am always so sad about the end of summer and the inevitable-ness of winter – fall leaves seem to help ease the pain. As do squash, potatoes, apple sauce, mulled wine, and well, normal wine too.
Ithaca in the Finger Lakes region of New York State is like a second east-coast home to me. I spent my first four years of east-coast life here, and I still visit often as I have family in town.
A trip up to Ithaca in the fall is always a highlight of my year. And a morning spent at Little Tree Orchards for some apple picking and cider donuts is often the best part.
Here are three photos instead of just one for this photo inspiration post – there were too many delicious colors and I couldn’t decide.
