THIS place is why I am now afraid of monkeys. The monkeys here have been trained through repetition to know that humans will feed them if they gather in one particular place in the Ubud Forest. A behavior has been set, as are expectations. Hungry greedy little monkeys have no fear as they grab bananas and personal items from tourists in hopes of a tasty treat. Sometimes, they will tug on clothes, steal backpacks, maybe mess with your hair.
I will no longer look at monkeys the same way after visiting the Ubud Monkey Forest. I need my personal space thank you. But this guy at least stopped being grabby long enough for a nice picture.

ugh. But the scenery is totally worth battling monkeys for honestly
