One of my favorite things about Amsterdam is the fresh outdoor lifestyle the people seem to have while still living in an urban environment. Biking, walking, gardens – all things I wish I could have more of in Brooklyn. Also everywhere in Amsterdam, not to mention the rest of The Netherlands, are the flowers. Specifically the famous tulips. A trip to the flower market is colorful, vibrant, and brings even more of the outdoors into the city.
