Even in the middle of a cold gray February, Paris comes alive at night. The bare branches of the city’s trees are dimmed, and the warm lights from inside the city’s cozy restaurants and vibrant cafes flicker on. Suddenly the city is timeless, and it doesn’t matter what season it is.
Except that in the middle of February when you go to the top of the Arc de Triomphe for a bird’s eye view of Paris, it is FREEZING COLD. If one would like to take this photo comfortably, one must have remembered to wear some gloves.
Nonetheless, this view of the Eiffel Tower is worth some frozen fingers.
