Even on a Caribbean island, sometimes what’s happening inland and in town is just as beautiful and interesting as the surroundings. This was certainly true in St John, where local culture and island life added another layer of intrigue beyond its raw natural beauty.

Great pictures. You really capture the beauty of our island. The vistas are fabulous as are our people. Glad you enjoyed.
thank you! I really did love. I hope to go back soon to explore even more of the island.
I love the pictures. My favorite place to go on vacation. On our last trip we had the donkeys putting their heads right in the car window – love the chickens running around and the tree frogs at night. The simplicity is great – like Vie’s menu.
Interesting people/things – The person who owned the property across the road from Hummingbird Hill used to make his own charcoal. He would stack wood between metal sheets and slow burn – as I remember. Wish I had pictures of that.
Glad you enjoyed your stay – Jim
wow, interesting. I’ve never know how people make charcoal. Would have loved to see that.
Vie’s is awesome! and she’s super sweet!
